Hsieh, Ying-chun (謝英俊) on returning the Power to People

Hsieh Ying-Chun is an architect, devoting himself to post-disaster reconstruction for more than 10 years. After September 21 earthquake, he achieved the proposal "Thao families reconstruction" with disaster victims. He has great efforts on eco-building and helping minorities rebuilding families. He designed lots of environment-fitted houses in Indonesia after Indonesian tsunami.

畢業自臺北淡江大學建築系，從事營造工作多年之後，重回建築設計工作；1999年投入­臺灣地震災區，與居民共同完成「921邵族家屋重建案」始受國內外矚目，對弱勢者協力­造屋、生態建築等議題有深入落實的努力。
